Network Systems Administrator

Configure, maintain, and administer company’s network systems (local network systems as well as internet services) & Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems; monitor EDI communications and provide support for all customers’ EDI transactions using UNIX, Business Basic and PowerTerm Pro; maintain network systems, fileservers & database using UNIX, Business Basic, PowerTerm Pro, & Oracle; evaluate and modify systems configurations/setting to improve efficiency, reliability and security; analyze and maintain a secure WAN network linking office and warehouse; coordinate data flow within and between suppliers, warehouse and clients to ensure timely shipment of orders; assist in developing and maintaining all company applications; test computer systems to determine criticality of component loss; monitor systems’ performance and data processing; and provide end-user support to employees learning to use the system. Master’s degree in Computer Science or related + 1 year experience as a Network Systems Administrator or Network Analyst. Experience must include network & EDI systems administration and maintenance, UNIX, Business Basic, PowerTerm Pro & Oracle.
